Centre member Dr. Jin Mengyao and her EdD student, Ms. Fan Yijun, have achieved an impressive milestone at Hong Kong Techathon+ 2025, the city’s premier international intercollegiate innovation and technology event. Their outstanding project proposal and performance led to their successful selection into the highly competitive Ideation Program. The team will receive substantial entrepreneurial support, including:
- A HK$100,000 seed fund to kick-start their innovation journey;
- Access to co-working space at the Hong Kong Science Park, offering a dynamic environment for collaboration and development;
- One year of comprehensive incubation support from the Science Park.
The Hong Kong Techathon+ brings together technology talents from both local and overseas institutions, fostering cross-disciplinary innovation and entrepreneurial synergy. Dr. Jin and Ms. Fan’s success not only reflects their creativity but also showcases the strong research-to-innovation potential cultivated within our Centre.
